Assistant Property Manager

WHAT WE NEED

Panco Management is always looking for Assistant Property Managers to join our team. Our Assistant Property Managers are on the front lines and are expected to possess brilliant customer service skills to better assist customers and residents daily. We are looking for outgoing, team players that have exceptional written and verbal skills. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs is a plus!

OUR EXPECTATIONS

  • Greet prospective residents, qualify, determine needs and preferences, and professionally present community and specific apartments while providing features and benefits
  • Answer incoming calls and handle accordingly
  • Maintain accurate resident records in property management software and resident files.
  • Work with office staff to insure all monies are collected as due and that all revenue data is posted correctly in the on-site property management software system
  • Handle preparation of all resident notices, including monthly newsletters, resident activity notices, late payment notices, and eviction notices
  • Prepare balance statements and notices for non-payment of rent and other violations. Coordinate with Property Manager the status of client accounts
  • Review lease paperwork with both staff and residents while explaining property rules and regulations. Ensures all lease paperwork is completed correctly and has been approved by the Property Manager
  • Work with maintenance staff to make sure apartments are completed for scheduled move-ins
  • Inspect apartment units and common areas as needed
  • Assist Property Manager with scheduling, organizing, and hosting resident functions
  • Assist Property Manager with preparation of monthly newsletter

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrate proficiency in working with computers including Microsoft Word Processing, Excel, calendar management, software/database, and social media
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
  • Prior experience in leasing, sales or hospitality
